Jason Warren
Director Of Operations
Director of Operations Jason Warren is a 25+ year veteran of law enforcement, with experience at the state, federal, and local levels. Jason has been working with the Lacox family of companies since their inception and has experience with both BadgeHire and TNT Operations. He began his law enforcement career as a summer college intern and long-term contractor with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in the Beaumont, TX area, working on cases ranging from forgery to murder.
After earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in 2000, Jason went to work for the Walker County Sheriff's Office as a Patrol Deputy. After being recruited away from the sheriff's office, Jason accepted a position as an investigator for the Texas Board of Criminal Justice - Office of the Inspector General, where he was promoted to the rank of Captain before leaving in 2020 to become more active in the off-duty law enforcement arena.
Not only is he the current Director of Operations for BadgeHire and a Master Texas Peace Officer, he also maintains full-time law enforcement status as the Chief Deputy for the Walker County Precinct 3 Constable's Office.
Throughout his career, Jason has been appointed to numerous state boards and committees, including an appointment by the Texas Governor as a member of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Advisory Board on Officer Misconduct. Jason has also been invited to testify before the Texas Legislature on numerous issues relating to law enforcement matters. He has seen multiple bills introduced on both the House and Senate floors for passage.
